我只是檢查俄羅斯的黃金持有量，並注意到，俄羅斯增加了60萬盎司的黃金儲備2011年10月。這是自至少2006年10月以來，並列第四大除了儲備。

I was just checking Russian gold holdings and noticed that Russia added 600,000 ounces of gold to reserves in Oct. 2011. That was tied for the 4th largest addition to reserves since at least Oct. 2006.

The Russian gold reserves now stand at 28,000,000 ounces which is 871 tonnes. Russia has the 8th largest gold reserves in the world. So far in 2011, Russia has added 2,600,000 ounces which is 81 tonnes to reserves. At present rates, Russia is officially adding about 100 tonnes of gold per year.

At current rates, Russia will overtake Qatar at 950 tonnes in about 1 year. Russia will officially overtake Switzerland at 1,040 tonnes and China at 1,054 tonnes in about 2 years assuming that Russia adds approx. 100 tonnes/year. At least on paper, Russia is projected to overtake China at number 5 for largest gold holdings in the world in about 2 years . I would suspect actual Chinese gold holdings to be much greater than 1,054 tonnes. At current rates, Russia may actually have more gold than Switzerland in about 2 years.
